The Card of The Day & Numerology for January 7th, 2021
Our Card of The Day is The Sun Card! ....Yes, despite the unprecedented events that occurred yesterday, in our Nation's Capitol, the Sun did rise once again!
As with all things in our Duality Universe, there are two sides to the coin...
Although overshadowed by the Rioters breaching our U.S. Capitol, the Congress did certify Joe Biden as the next President and Georgia is sending two Democratic Senators to the U.S. Senate, flipping it!
This will hopefully mean progress will be less encumbered, and - who knows? - we might actually get those $2,000 stimulus checks! ...LOL 🤣
Unlike the Moon, with it's limited light and shadows, The Sun makes our path forward clear! We can see the obstacles before us, and remove them!
In the traditional Waite/Smith Deck version of the Card (shown here from the Radiant Deck), a large Sun fills a Blue sky. A Child sits astride a White Horse, carrying a large Orange Banner.
A White brick Wall is behind the Horse, with Sunflowers atop it. The Sunflower is a symbol of The Sun, and along with the orange banner, denotes Success, Joy, Enthusiasm, Creativity, Balance, Happiness, Fun and sexuality.
The White color of the Wall and Horse symbolizes Purity, Freshness, and Innocence ....along with Peace and Serenity, as does the Blue background.
The Sun has Orange as well, but is dominated by the color Yellow, the color of Optimism, Energy, Clarity, and of course, The Sun. The Sun shines 22 Rays - The Master Builder Number, in Numerology. The Rays are made up of 11 straight and 11 wavy lines - 11 is The Master Illuminator Number.
Moving away from the Wall, the Child is about to position the Horse to jump the Wall, the obstacle to the Child's Success...
Today's DATE is the 4-Energy, Structure. Think ot the four "corners" of the World, the four cardinal directions, the four legs of a table or chair, the four walls necessary to create the simplest structure, the four Seasons, the four Elements, the four fundamental Forces, and so forth...
It is also the Number of Plans and Goals! And folks with a Life Path 4 are often Architects, Serving in the Military or are First Responders - Police, Fire, EMT, as well as Nurses, Doctors, Counselors, etc.
Interestingly Four is sometimes referred to as The Sun Number! Four is the Number of Organization, Practicality, Loyalty, High Morals, Drive, Conviction, and Progress. When we get to 4, we have progressed from The Self (1) to meeting The Other (2), and the two Create (3 - think of Card 3, The Empress), and what they create is 4, Structure...
But we are not quite halfway through the 9 Numbers. Although 4 (Structure) is a good thing, we can get Stuck in it, and never progress to the higher Numbers. That's where 5 comes in - The Chaos & Change that breaks us free! More on that tomorrow.
The DAY is the 7-Energy! Seven is not satisfied with simple explanantions and surface-level information. Seven digs Deep and won't stop until it gets the answers it is seeking. Seven belongs to the subset of The Mind Numbers (1, 5, 7).
It is thus analytical in it's pursuit, even though Spirituality is often what it seeks - which is typically more of an emotional topic. Seven wants to know the Great Truths, the answers to the Big Questions, how The Universe really works!
Seven is therfore drawn to Spiritual Practices, Universal Laws, Divination, The Law of Attraction, Tarot, Numerology, Astrology, Magick, and so on .....Plus more mundane pursuits, such as Geneaology.
So today is a great day for any of these pursuits, as well as continuing your work on your Plans & Goals for 2021...!
