Dax's Daily Dose of Tarot and Numerology!
Today both the DAY (23 = 2+3 = 5) and the whole DATE (4+2+3+2+2+1 = 14 = 1+4 = 5) reduce to the "5" Vibration. Five is from the Mind Numbers Sub-Group 1, 5 and 7.
Five is about the expression of Personal Freedom, with wit and a sense of Adventure! It comes with High-Energy, but be careful ....It can spiral-down quickly into Chaos!
Sometimes, however, we need this Chaos, to break us Free if we get "stuck" in the Structure of Four. Structure is not a bad thing, but we can get trapped in it, and not progress to the higher Number ....6, 7, 8, & 9 .....Where true fulfillment and Abundance & Prosperity are realized.
Five is curious, adaptable and social ..but it can also be non-committal, unreliable, and dirctionless. It's best to not make any BIG decisions or sign contracts on a 5-Day! ....Instead Have FUN! ....Seek the Adventure! ....or put the High-Energy to use, in a project!
Our Tarot Card of The Day (COTD), The Sun Card, brings with it the One-Vibration! (19 = 1+9 = 10 = 1+0 = 1) ...The Number of Self, Leadership, Confidence, New Beginnings, Possibility, Opportunity, Power, Expression, Being On Stage, Independence, Goal-Oriented, Innovation ...but can be Forceful, Risky, Doubtful.
In both the Lllewellyn Deck and Waite/Smith versions of the Card, we see a figure on a horse, with the Sun behind them. In the Waite/Smith version it's a naked child, holding staff with a crimson banner (passion).
In the Llewellyn version, an older lad or young man holds a staff, but now the crimson banner has become a flowing part of his clothing.
Sometimes this Card is associated with the birth of a child, depending on the surrounding Cards, but most often is associated with Fulfillment, Energy, Confidence, Love, Joy, Accomplishment, and Success.
It is arguably the Best Card in the Deck, and folks love to see it show up! In the Waite/Smith version, the Energy of the Card is reinforced by the Sunflowers. Because of the myth of Clytie and Apollo, the sunflower most commonly means adoration and loyalty.
However, sunflower meanings can vary across cultures. In China, people associate sunflowers with long life, good fortune, and vitality and are often given at graduations.
In any case, the figures seem to be setting off on an adventure, in alignment with our Numerology for Today, the 5-Energy! Take time today to get out in the Sun, ride roller coasters, go on a hike, take in a good movie, or book, explore, travel, have a BBQ with friends ......Just Enjoy and Have Fun!
