...Today the Nation mourns the loss of another great man! General Colin Powell. Although also having served as the First African-American Secretary of State, since leaving office, he prefered to be called "General Powell"...
After 35 years as a professional soldier, this makes sense. Born "Colin Luther Powell", his name reduces to the Destiny Number "4". Four is Structure, and many who have the 4-Energy in a major Chart Number, such as Destiny, Life Path, or Attitude, tend to have served.
For instance, my Attitude Number is "4" (Air Force Security), and my co-host for "Tarot Today Radio", Mary Brown, has a Life Path "4" (Army Intelligence).
General Powell was born on April the 5th, 1937, and has an "11/2" Life Path and "9" Attitude Number. Nine is the Number of The Philanthropist, and is about the accumulation of Wisdom and Experience!

It's also the Energy of the Six of Pentacles, which appears today! Today is a great day to be generous and help others. Think, "How can I make a difference for someone else today?"...
Of course, with moderation & balance. A wealthy individual, perhaps a merchant, holds a scales and carefully "weighs out" what he can offer those in need, on the side of a road.
The Temperance card also makes an appearance, and is yet another representation of Balance & Moderation. It's a card of patience, diplomacy, co-operation, and successful negotiations.
Temperance is sometimes referred to as "The Alchemy Card", about the blending of opposites, fusion, doing "the impossible", and creating something "new", out of disparate parts!
Six (6) is also from the Creativity Sub-Group of Numbers, 3, 6 and 9, so apply your Creativity, in service to others. What ideas do you get, but they sound "impossible"?
